Tuesday 31 March 2020

I have met a lot of good people in the last few years. Whether it is Swapnil Dada, Ajay Dada who lives abroad and cares about the people of the country, Vidyananda ji who cares about humanity even when he is a policeman or Narendra ji who has a tendency to give something to others even though he has little. (The list is long). I learned a lot from all of this. I am now convinced that if you want to do something for others, no matter how many obstacles come your way.

Today I am going to write about one person. Because today I wanted to write. Man writes only about him about whom he feels love and respect.

Keki - The name is a bit different like him. Keki and I met three years ago.He believe one dream at a time He had read my news in the newspaper when I was working in Chandar school. and then he contacted me by getting my mobile number from somewhere. We have been in touch with each other ever since.

I am currently working at Gorhe Bu. School. He always appreciates the various activities in the school. He took the initiative to renovate the Turiy Lab, which we recently started at the school.

He came to visit me in the last week of March 2020. In fact, I was a little frightened by the thought of such a big man coming to meet me. But once he arrived, it didn't feel like we were meeting for the first time.

He came to school. He learned all the activities of the school. He was very happy to see the changes that have taken place in the school in the last two years. He also learned about the other needs of the school. And announced immediate help.

But the reason for writing about them today is different.
Hurricane Amphan came and went in West Bengal recently. As you know, Bengal is currently experiencing a very large storm.
Many people have lost their homes. One of them is Rituparna Biswas and Shubhendu Bhandari who live in Amta village. They both conduct drama at local level.

They have a theater company called "Amata Parichay". 'Iladidi' is their famous play.
They both live and play in a small village. He has conveyed the play to the people of the villages.
Currently, after the lockdown, it was in a very difficult situation. Drama pla is the only way for these people to make money.
In addition, they are still exhausted due to the storm.
His place of play is his home.

In all these situations, they needed financial support as well as mental support.

This morning I talked to Keki about it. He immediately spoke to Rituparna Didi and sent her as much help as possible. This help is huge.

It may not have taken long to read the above three lines but tears welled up in my eyes as I wrote it.

Note - My writing is not good. Not all emotions could be expressed here.
