Yesterday, We launched 20th StudyMall on 21th Sep 2018 at Z.P School, Ghore Budruk, Tq.Haveli, Dist.Pune. In first phase we have set up Digital Class and Library, this will help around 200 Children to have access to quality education. Launch event was arranged with the help of school and villagers to celebrate the accessibility to better education. Our special guest was Pradeep Lokhande (Founder, Rural Relation ) who delivered his energetic speech and provided guidance to children where he shared that the most important three things to be successful are to know how to Read, Write and Speak which Studymall will help them to achieve
. Our special thanks to Ajay Munde (Ek Diwas Samajasathi Foundation) for his guidance to school children. Chief Guest Ramesh Konde (Former Zillha Parished Member,Pune) shared his thoughts on importance of education and how children from Z.P school are more resilient as they face difficult situation and hence survive ups and downs in career.
Teachers from other surrounding schools, Education officers, Villagers and Public Leaders from village also graced the opening ceremony. Special thanks to Rajnikant Mendhe, सरपंच पै. लहु खिरीड Sachin Pasalkar and other teachers from same school who took extra efforts for this event and StudyMall set up. It has been eight years since I am working in Chandar..

It was tough time while appointed in Chandar. Though I had accepted it as my passion. It was not so easy to work there : no proper roads, no electricity & lack of all basic facilities...this was condition of Chandar village of that time...

It was 2010 ,when I joined the School . First day to reach in Chandar was like to go on war.. 30 kg of weight on back ,wooden stick like a gun in hand.. When I reached in chandar ; the picture was hair-rising for me... School had only walls remained ,no roof was there... It was not looking school by any manner.

I thought , thought , thought and finally decided....’yes,lot more to do here..’

2010-2018 , this time interval is most Emotional-Memorable-unforgettable time of my life... Because ,not only as a teacher I worked here but many things I also learned here..I developed strongly as human being..

I tried to give all my efforts to do something for my school and my students...but somewhere I couldn’t, please give me some excuse...

Leaving you 👉🏻My School ,My Student and my Village Chandar👈🏻 just by physically...you always be in my heart & my mind..forever ever & ever

Mr.Vishal Mahadkar ,A Bollywood movie director took all legal rights to make movie on my struggling story..so that other people will inspire by watching it

Many doner are planning to come there in Chandar Village to do some work for peoples and school....

Dawn of hope in village of India’s loneliest school kid

PUNE: Until a month ago, the only visitor to Chandar in Velhe taluka was a zilla parishad school teacher who would come to the village every day to guide his lone student.
Monday’s was a different story as dressed in their best, the villagers of Chandar had gathered to welcome several visitors — retired Armed forces and Indian Administrative Services officers, businessmen and local politicians — for the inauguration of the newly constructed community hall.

Besides the hall that would have an LED TV, facilities such as solar lanterns, lights for homes, a water storage tank with solar pumps and a library also became a reality in the village located over 100km from here.

Forest department and zilla parishad officials pledged that a proposal for a “pucca” road and electricity line has been sent to the government and work will start soon.

On March 25, TOI was the first to report about the abject poverty and lack of basic facilities in Chandar and the grit of Rajnikant Mendhe (29), who would reach the village following a 12-km trek through the hills with 400ft drops on either side to teach Yuvraj Sangale (8), his only student.

“After reading the TOI report, our team from Science and Technology Park, along with some of our incubate companies, visited Chandar in the first week of April to ascertain what we could do. The biggest problem in Chandar village is access. It is extremely difficult to reach the village because of the slippery road through the treacherous terrain of the Sahyadri ranges,” said Rajendra Jagdale, director general and CEO of Science and Technology Park, Pune.

Jagdale got in touch with startups and industry partners and decided to complete the mission within a month. “When we told the villagers what we want to do, they came in big numbers and and helped in digging, construction activity and improving the road condition. Our aim is to reduce the socio-economic vulnerabilities of the villagers. We also want people to know that if they come together and use technology properly, they can make a difference to the neglected communities in a very short time,” he said.

Science and Technology Park, Pune is one of the Science and Technology Entrepreneurs Parks set up in 1986 by the National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board of the department of science and technology on the Savitribai Phule Pune University campus .

Women of the village, who had to walk all the way to the outskirts to fetch water from a well till now, were the happiest with the development. “My life has gone into this. It becomes difficult during summer. I am happy that the days will change once the water tank is in place and a pipeline is laid. Women like me will not have to struggle like earlier days,” said Tai Sangale.

I Don't know 'Destiny' exist or not ....But, If it Exist , then,Surely I can say that whatever happening in my Life it's all according to Destiny.

It has been Eight years Since I am Working here in Chandar Village as a Primary Teacher...It has been hard time for me since that.Everyday I face the new challenge here..Reaching here is the big Problem ...

No Proper Roads,Jungle all around,Snakes meets you every hour..Village has no Electricity,no Basic needs therefore it's hard to live there for person like me.

Even that, working there was my Passion & still it is going on. Initially It was fun in School with Students...more than Ten Students..all were energetic with full of activeness... Therefore many of years went in fun Working on them. But, this picture not remained same. This Village has 15-20 huts having near about 50-60 peoples living there.Most of the Famillies migrated in Surat & Mumbai for Labour Jobs.Therefor ,this influenced on School Strength also.Starting from 12 students ;Now I have just single students.And ,if this condition remained same ,undoubtly, one day School has to be Closed.

But,always there is a hope....this sentence proved true it'self.

I don't know how Times Of India Reporter got the idea about my School & they reached there..& after all Drama Start..When they Published the News abouy My School & Village ,it Viraled.Then all the peoples like Jayshri Bokil Mam(Divya Marathi NewsPaper), Supriya Nair Mam & Team (MidDay),Vinayak Pawar Sir(Samna),& many Others gave the light to this news.

I received So many calls for appriciation about my work.. & in that one Call I received from Mr.Jagdale Sir ,a great person..who is Director General /C.E.O. Of Science & Techno. Park Pune University... He arranged the meeting & discussed how we can make changes in Chandar Village so that villagers live easy life.... And Plan Finilized..

In15 days...all the team of STP worked very hard & it's Proofs are the Pictures you can see here .

औरंगाबादेतल्या MIT नर्सिंग कॉलेजमध्ये शिकणाऱ्या सचिन वाघ या विद्यार्थ्याला कॉपी करताना पर्यवेक्षकांनी पकडलं. आधी नापास होण्याच्या भीतीने कॉपी केली आणि आता ती पकडली गेल्यानंतर होणाऱ्या "बदनामी"मुळे त्याच्या मनात धडकी भरली. आणि याच भीतीपोटी त्याने इमारतीच्या चौथ्या मजल्यावरून उडी घेऊन आत्महत्या केली.

मुलांच्या मनाचा असा कडेलोट का होतोय? याची चर्चा सुरू झाली आहे. असे काहीतरी धक्कादायक, अघटीत घडल्याशिवाय संबंधित प्रश्नांकडे समाजाचे लक्षच जात नाही. चर्चाविश्व ढवळून निघत नाही, याचे वैषम्य वाटते.

*विद्यार्थी की भारवाहक?*

पालक, नातेवाईक आणि मुलांच्या स्वतःकडून असलेल्या असंख्य आशा-अपेक्षांचे ओझे आणि समवयस्कांचे दडपण घेऊन मुले शाळा-महाविद्यालयांत येतात. मुलांच्या पाठीवरच्या दप्तराचे ओझे उघड्या डोळ्यांना दिसते. त्याचे वजन मोजता येते. मन-मेंदूवरचे ओझे, दडपण कितीतरी पटींनी जास्त असते मात्र ते दिसत नाही म्हणून त्याकडे दुर्लक्ष होते. शाळा-महाविद्यालयांतला अभ्यास प्रत्यक्ष जगण्यापासून तुटलेला असतो. तो इतका निरस आणि कंटाळवाणा असतो, की त्यासाठी बुद्धी, कौशल्य आणि अंगभूत क्षमता यांचा अतिशय कमीत कमी वापर करायला लागतो. शिकणे म्हणजे समृद्ध होणे, उन्नत होणे असे काही नसते. या प्रक्रियेला मुले कंटाळतात. त्यात ‘मूल्यमापन म्हणजे केवळ लेखी परीक्षा!’ असा इथला खाक्या आहे. काही सांस्कृतिक समुहातील मुलांकडे लिहून व्यक्त होण्याच्या कौशल्यांचा पिढीजात अभाव आहे/असतो. (याचा अर्थ ही मुले काहीच शिकायच्या लायकीची नसतात, असे नव्हे! परीक्षा आणि इथली विशिष्ट व्यवस्था मात्र लेबलं लावत असा गिल्ट पुष्कळ मुलांना देत आलीय!)

*नुसतीच घोकंपट्टी?*

नववी-दहावीपासून पुढच्या परीक्षांतले प्रश्न विशिष्ट साच्याचे असतात. अनेकदा तर ते केवळ स्मरणावर आधारित असतात. आधी म्हटल्याप्रमाणे ज्या मुलांकडे पाठांतराला पूरक ‘सांस्कृतिक भांडवल’ नसते, त्या मुलांचे यात मरण होते. घोकंपट्टी किंवा पाठांतर अपरिहार्य बनते. या गोष्टी आपसूकच मन-मेंदूवरचा ताण वाढवतात.

शैक्षणिक मानसशास्र सांगते की ‘प्रत्येक मूल वेगळे(युनिक) असते. मूल स्वत:च्या गतीने शिकते.’ आपल्याकडे ‘सर्वांसाठी शिक्षण’ याचा विचार करताना आम्ही मुलांच्या व्यक्तिमत्त्वातील वैविध्य नाकारले आहे! शिक्षणातले हे 'रेजिमेंटेशन' घातक आहे. एखाद्या घटकाविषयी वर्गात एकदा ‘भाषण’(लेक्चर) दिले जाते. त्यातल्या आशयाचे मुलांना आकलन व्हावे, असे शाळा-महाविद्यालयांचे भन्नाट चमत्कारीक गृहीतक असते. पुढे जाताना मुलांना किती समजलेले आहे, याची खात्री करून घेतली जात नाही. दहावीनंतरचा अभ्यासक्रम भयंकर बोजड आहे. विविध विषयांच्या संकल्पना स्पष्ट झालेल्या नसताना, विषयाचे आकलन नसताना, त्याचा अभ्यास स्वत: कसा करायचा आणि करड्या शिस्तीच्या वातावरणात लेखी परीक्षा द्यायची! मुलांवर काय बितत असेल? याची कल्पनाच केली बरी. अभ्यासाच्या शाखा जर का तांत्रिक स्वरूपाच्या असतील आणि उत्तरे परक्या भाषेत लिहायची असतील तर मुलांच्या मेंदूचे भजे होते. परीक्षेत विचारलेल्या अपेक्षित प्रश्नांची ‘अपेक्षित उत्तरे’ सर्वच मुलांना लिहिता आली पाहिजेत, ही अपेक्षाच मुळात किती अमानुष आहे.

*कॉपी का करायला लागते?*

विषयांचे आकलन झालेले नसताना लेखी परीक्षेला सामोरे जायची वेळ गुदरते तेव्हा ‘शैक्षणिक रितेपण’ मुलांना खायला उठते. कॉपी करण्याचा मोह मुलांना होतो. संकल्पना पुरेशा स्पष्ट झालेल्या नसताना पाठ करून पेपरात उतरवणे (आणि पेपर लिहिल्यावर विसरून जाणे!) हीदेखील एकप्रकारची कॉपीच(कॉपी-पेस्ट) आहे, हे मानायला व्यवस्था तयार नाहीये. पाठांतरवाली 'कॉपी-पेस्ट' करून किंवा कधी काळी प्रत्यक्ष-अप्रत्यक्ष कॉपी करून इथपर्यंत आलेले लोक आज धोरणकर्ते आहेत किंवा महत्त्वाच्या जागी बसलेत आणि ते कॉपीच्या विरोधात वगैरे असतात! त्यांच्या या कॉपीविरोधी मानसिकतेला नैतिकतेच्या मोजपट्ट्या लावायच्या नसतात! तसे केले की ते भलते खवळतात, अंगावर येतात. वास्तविक इथली विशिष्ट व्यवस्थाच विशिष्ट मुलांना कॉपी करायला भाग पाडते, आणि त्रासाच्या खाईत ढकलते हेच यातले नागडे वास्तव आहे!

*दोष कोणात: परीक्षा पद्धतीत की मुलांमध्ये?*

मूल्यमापन म्हणजे ‘फीड बॅक’ घेणे. मूल्यमापनाचा अपरिहार्य भाग म्हणून परीक्षांचे विशिष्ट महत्त्व नाकारायचे काहीच कारण नाही. मात्र हल्ली मूल्यमापनाचा मूळ हेतू कुठेतरी हरवलाय, हेच खेदाने नमूद करायला लागते. परीक्षा आणि मूल्यमापनामधून आपल्याला काय येतेय, काय येत नाही. आपली बलस्थाने काय आहेत आणि शिकण्याच्या शक्यता काय असू शकतात, हे मुलांना सांगणारे मूल्यमापन हवे. करेक्शन करायला मुलांना वेळोवेळी वाव मिळायला हवा. शिकवणाऱ्या व्यक्तीला आपण कोठे कमी पडतोय, आपल्या पुढच्या कामाची दिशा कशी असावी, हे त्यातून समजायला हवे. ‘तुम्हाला काहीच येत नाही. तुम्ही काही कामाचेच नाही आहात,’ असेच जणू आजची परीक्षापद्धती लक्षावधी मुलांना सांगत असते! त्यांचा आत्मविश्वास खलास करतेय. नापासीचा शिक्का भाळी मारत असते. वास्तविक मुले नापास होतात, तेव्हा शिक्षकांपासून सरकारच्या धोरणापर्यंत सारेच घटक नापास होत असतात. मग नापासीची सल केवळ मुलांना का टोचणी लावते?

वर्गात शिकणे-शिकवणे सुरु असते म्हणजे प्रत्यक्षात नेमके काय घडते? अपयशी होणारी मुले काय करत असतात? त्यांच्या डोक्यात नेमके काय चाललेले असते? त्यांच्यातील क्षमतांचा ते अधिक वापर का करत नाहीत? भीती आणि अपयश याचा परस्पर संबंध काय असतो? मुलांना अपयश कशामुळे येते? आपली शिक्षण पद्धती, अभ्यासक्रम, पाठ्यपुस्तके, मूल्यमापन आणि परीक्षा याचा साकल्याने विचार केल्याशिवाय पुढे कसे जाता येईल?

मुंबई विद्यापीठात उच्च शिक्षण घेणारी अश्विनी म्हणाली, “दुःख परीक्षा असण्याचं नाहीये. परीक्षेच्या स्वरूपावर आमचे आक्षेप आहेत. त्यात आयुष्याशी जोडलेलं काहीच नाही. नावीन्य नसल्याचा वैताग आहे. इतक्या मास स्केलवर मुलांच्या मूल्यमापनासाठीचे नवे टूल तयार केलेले नाहीत. अभ्यासक्रम ऍप्लिकेशन बेस्ड हवा. थिअरीसोबतच प्रॅक्टीकल्स, प्रोजेक्ट्सचं महत्त्व वाढायला हवं. लेखी परीक्षेला अतिरेकी महत्त्व दिले जाते. मग असे काहीतरी घडले की हा चर्चेचा होतो. काही काळ हळहळ व्यक्त होते. पुढे काय होतं आपल्याला माहितीच आहे!”

परीक्षेतले प्रश्न मुलांना सापळ्यात अडकवण्याच्या हेतूने निवडले जातात. म्हणूनच परीक्षा म्हणजे व्यवस्थेने मुलांविरुद्ध पुकारलेले युद्ध आहे.’ असे ‘प्रिय बाई’ या जगभर गाजलेल्या पुस्तकात मुले लिहितात! परीक्षा नावाच्या जीवघेण्या प्रकाराकडे मुलांचे हे असे बघणे मोठ्यांच्या डोळ्यांत झणझणीत अंजन घालणारे आहे. दहावी, बारावीत किंवा त्यापुढे उच्च शिक्षण घेणाऱ्या बहुसंख्य मुलांच्या मनात लेखी परीक्षेविषयी इतकी भीती का असते? याविषयी आपण गंभीर होऊन विचार आणि उपाय करत नाहीत तोपर्यंत कॉपी केसेस होत राहतील आणि पेपर फुटतच राहतील. तरुण जीवनिशी जातच राहतील. चार दिवस लोक हळहळतील...

*शिक्षण पद्धतीचे मूल्यमापन कधी?*

वास्तविक परीक्षेतील गैरप्रकारांचे कॉपीचे समर्थन करणे हा लेखाचा उद्देश नाही. मात्र एक मोठी सामाजिक समस्या म्हणून माध्यमांनी कॉपी या प्रकाराचे महाभयंकरीकरण केले आहे. यामुळेच कॉपी पकडली गेल्यानंतर संबंधित मुलांना गुन्हेगार असल्यासारखे वाटते. त्या कथित बदनामीतून मुले आत्महत्येसारखा टोकाचा पर्याय निवडतात. या सगळ्या आत्महत्या आहेत की इथल्या क्रूर व्यवस्थेने केलेल्या हत्या? याविषयी संबंधित आत्मपरीक्षण करतील का कधी? अपेक्षेपेक्षा कमी मार्क्स मिळायच्या भीतीनेही मुले स्वत:ला संपवताहेत. तरुणांना मरायचे काहीच वाटत नाही इतके मरण स्वस्त झालेय का? परीक्षेच्या हंगामात कॉपीविषयी उच्चारवात बोलणारी माध्यमे एकूण शिक्षण प्रक्रियेचे मूल्यमापन, विश्लेषण करायला का धजावत नाहीत?

*शिकतोय सगळे उपयोगाचे किती?*

शिक्षण मुलांना समृद्ध करण्यासाठी असते. इथे मात्र मुलांच्या संयमाचा सहनशीलतेचा कडेलोट होताना दिसतोय, तो का होतोय? सन २०००नंतर जन्मलेल्या मुलांना प्रचंड वेगळे एक्सपोझर मिळाले आहे. त्यांचे भावविश्व भिन्न वेगळे आहे. पालक-शिक्षक मात्र पारंपरिक दृष्टिने त्याकडे बघताय. मुलांना नकार पचवणे जमत नाहीये. साध्या साध्या गोष्टीवर मुले हिंसक होताहेत, टोकाची प्रतिक्रिया देतात. शालेय वयापासूनच करिअर, ताणतणाव, शरीराची वाढ-विकास याविषयी बोलायला हवे. त्यासाठी शाळाशाळांत समुपदेशक नेमले पाहिजेत.

*छळणारा करिअर मॅनिया:*

एखादी परीक्षा जीवन मरणाचा प्रश्न कशी काय बनते? कथित अपयश मुलांना का छळते? याचे कारण शिक्षण रोजगाराचे साधन बनले आहे. नोकरीच्या संधी आणि मुलांची संख्या यांचे गुणोत्तर अत्यंत विषम आहे. या जीवघेण्या स्पर्धेतून परीक्षा अटीतटीची लढाई बनते. यशस्वी करिअर होणे, ही गोष्ट अनेक मुलांना तीव्र काळजीच्या खोल डोहात बुडवू बघतेय. मुले गटांगळ्या खाताय. निराशा, वैफल्य, विमनस्कता, मानसिक ताणतणाव वाढतच चाललेत. मुलांची मनं पोखरली गेलीत. यशात वाटेकरी असलेले पालक-शाळा अपयशात सोबत नसतात. अनेक पालकांचा मुलांशी योग्य प्रकारचा संवाद नसतो. मनातल्या भावभावना व्यक्त करता येत नाही. निचरा झाला नाही की कोंडमारा, चरफड होतेय. युवकांना व्यसने जडलीत. स्वतःला ते समाजमाध्यमांच्या कट्यांवर करमवताहेत. सांगता येत नाही आणि सहन होत नाही, अशी एकुणात गंभीर अवस्था आहे. मनोविकासतज्ज्ञ काळजीत आहेत. एका अभ्यासानुसार भारतातले ७६टक्के युवक 'करिअर मॅनिया'तून जाताय, असे अलिकडेच वाचण्यात आलेय. समाज म्हणून हा आपल्यासमोरचा चिंतेचा विषय असला पाहिजे. दुर्दैव हे आहे की सध्या तरी तसे दिसत नाहीये. घराघरांत मोठ्या संख्येने असलेल्या 'बच्चों के मन की बात' समाजधुरीण करू लागतील, तोच सुदिन!

*समाधान काय?*

शिक्षणशास्राचे किशोर दरक याविषयी बोलताना म्हणाले, की 'कॉपी आणि त्यावरील उपायांबाबत आग ‘सोमेश्वरी आणि बंब रामेश्वरी’ अशी अवस्था आहे. असमान सामाजिक-सांस्कृतिक पार्श्वभूमीच्या विद्यार्थ्यांची परीक्षा व्यवस्थेच्या सोयीसाठी एकाच प्रकारे घेऊन त्याद्वारे त्यांची भविष्यकालीन कार्यजगतातली योग्यायोग्यता ठरवणे, हेच कॉपीचे मूळ आहे. यातून बाहेर पडायचे असेल तर योग्य मूल्यमापनासाठी शिक्षकांचे सक्षमीकरण करणे, शिक्षण जगतात विश्वासाचे वातावरण निर्माण करून शिक्षकांना स्वायत्तता देणे आणि शालेय परीक्षांमधील गुणांचा भविष्यकालीन संधींशी असलेला यांत्रिक संबंध कमी करत कालांतराने पूर्णपणे संपुष्टात आणणे हेच दीर्घकालीन उपाय असू शकतात.'

वक्ता म्हणून प्रसिद्ध असलेले शिव खेरा यांच्या भाषणाचा व्हिडिओ युट्युबवर बघत होतो. त्यात एक दृश्य होते. ते आठवले. नुकत्याच जन्मलेल्या अर्भकाच्या नाकातोंडाला व्हँटीलेटर बसवलेले आहे. बाळाचा जगण्यासाठी संघर्ष सुरु आहे... शिव खेरा यांचे त्यावरचे भाष्य मोठे चपखल आहे. ते म्हणतात “युही तो कहाँ जाता है कि ये शुरुआत की तकलिफें है। लेकीन सच ये है कि ये तकलिफों कि शुरुआत है।”
'निरोगी मुले ही आपल्या देशाची खरीखुरी संपत्ती आहे,' असे सुविचार शाळेच्या भिंतीवर लिहून भागणार नाही. मुलांसाठी हे जग जगायला लायक बनवले पाहिजे! 'मोठ्यांनी' आपले 'मोठेपण' सिद्ध करायला मुलांसाठी इतके तरी केलेच पाहिजे नाही का?
